Privacy Policy · Effective August 10, 2026

Your work is private. Our data practices should be clear.

This Privacy Policy explains how SparklingTreat LLC (“SparklingTreat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit our website, apply for a beta, use our Windows app, or contact us.

01

Timing stays local

Limited input-idle and device-state signals used to time a reset are processed on your computer.

02

Events, not work content

We may collect app-usage and diagnostic events, but not what you type, read, or work on.

03

No data sales

We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Scope

One policy for the SparklingTreat service.

This Policy applies to SparklingTreat websites, applications, beta programs, support, and related services that link to it (collectively, the “Service”). It does not cover third-party products or services that have their own privacy policies.

If you use SparklingTreat on a computer or network managed by an employer or another organization, that organization may have its own monitoring, device-management, and software policies. Those practices are outside SparklingTreat’s control and are not covered by this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide and limited information about the Service.

Information you provide

  • Contact details, such as your name and email address, when you apply, request support, or communicate with us
  • Application, survey, interview, and feedback responses you choose to submit
  • Any other information you choose to include in a message to us

App usage and diagnostic information

Depending on the version or program you use, the app may send limited event data to SparklingTreat’s Microsoft Azure environment. This may include:

  • A coded user or tester identifier and app version
  • Prompts shown and actions taken, such as starting, choosing another option, snoozing, skipping, pausing, ignoring, or completing a reset
  • The reset and format offered, playback duration, completion status, and optional ratings or feedback
  • Limited technical diagnostics, such as operating-system version, timestamps, error codes, IP address, and standard connection metadata

Website and connection information

When you visit our website or connect to an online feature, our hosting and service providers may automatically process information such as your IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, referral information, and access timestamps to deliver, secure, and maintain the Service.

Signals processed on your computer

SparklingTreat may use elapsed time since keyboard or mouse input and limited device states—such as lock, sleep, presentation, fullscreen, and supported focus settings—to estimate when a reset may fit. These timing signals are processed locally and are not uploaded as raw input activity.

What the app does not collect

  • Raw keystrokes, mouse movements, click coordinates, passwords, or clipboard contents
  • Screenshots, screen recordings, websites, documents, messages, or email content
  • Application names, meeting content, camera or microphone recordings, or precise location

How we use information

To operate, support, secure, and improve SparklingTreat.

We may use information to provide and maintain the Service; deliver and evaluate reset experiences; understand reliability and feature use; respond to support requests; communicate about your participation or the Service; prevent misuse; protect security; comply with law; and develop or improve SparklingTreat.

We do not use the app to generate an individual productivity score or inspect the substance of your work.

How we disclose information

Limited disclosures for operating the Service.

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate SparklingTreat, such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Forms, website hosting, communications, security, and support providers. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and under their applicable agreements.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or with your direction or consent.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

Kept only as reasonably necessary.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, supporting research or beta participation, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by the type of information and the program in which you participate.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us about your information.

You may stop future app collection by uninstalling the app. Some research or beta programs require defined event collection while you participate; if so, that requirement will be disclosed before you enroll, and you may withdraw from the program.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the email below. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

SparklingTreat is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Changes to this Policy

We will keep this page current.

We may update this Policy as SparklingTreat changes. We will post the revised version here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
